On a cold morning at Heston, the lady selling hot drinks and various toasties etc, was doing good business.
Into the game and an excellent one-two passing move upfield from defence, led to Hassan’s effort going wide of the target.
Then, Hassan knocked the ball to Jake Coomes, who, after getting to the byeline, won a corner. From which, after Kit Margetson had punched the ball out, it was played back in again and ended up with Ramy Bouhiaoui curling his shot wide of the target.
After 19 minutes, following a low cross into the box, Rohan Davies struck the ball wide of the upright. Then, less than a minute later, the same player stabbed the ball home to give the visitors the lead.
However, Rangers equalised three minutes later when Jake Coomes’ strike appeared to come off Ramy Bouhiaoui’s leg.
Mr Peter awarded a harsh free kick following Luka Radojevic’s challenge on an opponent and the R’s No.4 was then booked seemingly for remonstrating at his decision?
Rangers went close to taking the lead when Hassan, after receiving the ball in the box, toe-poked it against the post.
This was a good period for the home side. Ramy Bouhiaoui let fly from the edge of the box and the ball cleared the crossbar.
Hassan’s deft touch found Jake Coomes, who then squared the ball back to the Rangers No.9, and his effort narrowly evaded the upright.
It was the Swans who took the lead a minute or so before the break. Aimar Govea’s cross from the left-flank evaded a number of players in the box, but, Cameron Llewellyn, in space 20-yards or so out, sweetly fired the ball into the top corner. Half-time: 1-2.
For the start of the second-half, Micah Hyde brought on Emmerson Sutton and Rico Kennedy at the expense of Jake Coomes and Ramy Bouhiaoui respectively.
A good ball into the box found Rico Kennedy, but as it bounced, the R’s substitute couldn’t get enough on it and Kit Margetson was able to grab it.
Rangers drew level again in the 55th minute after Rico Kennedy had won a corner. This resulted in Hassan’s close-range, angled shot finding the far corner.
As Rico Kennedy advanced into the box, the Swans defender slipped, and the R’s substitute continued his run to the byeline. After Hassan and a defender both went to meet his cross, the ball ended up going for a corner.
Swansea regained the lead after 66 minutes following Harlan Perry’s corner kick. Jack Fanning was well placed to finish from close range.
Rangers equalised for a third time just 30 seconds later when Kooshan Hayati’s strike from the edge of the box evaded Kit Margetson.
As the R’s looked for the winner, Hassan Hamid smashed the ball at the keeper, who knocked it behind for a corner.
And it came after Rico Kennedy had squared the ball into the box and Hassan was on hand to tap it in from close range.
