Police officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound early Sunday after responding to a report of multiple shots fired in the Homestead Avenue area, police said.
The officers went to the 100 block of Homestead Avenue after receiving a ShotSpotter notification that recorded “numerous rounds fired,” police said Sunday. The officers located a man in his fifties
suffering from a gunshot wound, police said. The ShotSpotter system detects gunfire.
The victim, who was not identified by police, was taken to an area hospital, police said. The victim was listed in critical condition Sunday morning, police said.
