Tributes have also been paid to the late All My Children actor by his fans and co-stars, following the shock news of his passing.
Paige Press is the fiancée of the late actor Alec Musser.
After news of her partner’s death broke, Press paid tribute to the soap star in a heartbreaking social media post.
Press does not have any pictures on her Instagram page but posted a series of messages on her Story.
She wrote: “RIP to the love of my life. I will never stop loving you. My heart is so broken.”
She then poignantly added photos of her and Musser’s vision board from 2023.
She added: “Today is the worst day of my life. We were so happy.
“You were the best fiancé I could have ever asked for. I don’t think I can drive my wagon anymore.”
Press continued to share several photos of her special memories with her late fiancé.
Not much is known about Press’ career or personal life, and she appears to keep out of the spotlight.
Her Instagram bio states that her empty account isn’t a “fake” she was just “a little late to the Insta game”.
Alec Musser was a soap star best known for his work on US daytime show All My Children.
He was born on April 11, 1973, in New York City and died on January 12, 2024, at his home in Del Mar, California.
TMZ was the first to report the news of Musser’s death at the age of 50.
As of January 14, 2024, his cause of death is yet to be announced.
Musser played Del Henry on All My Children from 2005 until 2007.
He also appeared on TV show I Wanna Be a Soap Star, a competition show which he won, and in the movie Grown Ups.
Musser’s other credits include an appearance on Lifetime original sitcom Rita Rocks and a role on an episode of Desperate Housewives, in which he played a character called Friedrich.
The star posted on social media for the final time just days before his death.
In his last upload to Instagram, the actor shared a silhouette image of himself surfing the waves in front of a sunset.
In the wake of his death, several friends, family, and fans took to the comments section of his heartbreaking final picture to pay their respects.
One person wrote: “RIP Brother Alec. We will surf together again my friend. May God bless you in your new adventure of heaven. Prayers and love out to family,” while another shared: “We miss you, my friend. RIP.”
A third commented: “I’m in shock brother. You were a dear friend and will always be remembered. Enjoy those perfect heavenly waves and powder runs.”
Musser’s Grown Ups co-star Adam Sandler also shared his condolences over the actor’s passing.
Sandler, who co-wrote and featured in the 2010 film alongside Musser, who played a waterpark worker, said on Instagram: “I loved this guy.”
He continued: “Cannot believe he is gone. Such a wonderful, funny good man.
“Thinking of him and his family and sending all my love. A true great sweetheart of a person.”
It is not known exactly when Musser and Press’ romance first began but they appear to have been in a relationship since at least 2020.
The pair were at least in each other’s lives for a while before, with Press posting a picture of them from “six years ago” on her Instagram Story after Musser’s death.
Over the years, Press has made many appearances on Musser’s Instagram page, with the actor sharing a number of adorable pictures of the couple together.
The pair seem to have shared many interests, such as fitness, skiing and surfing.
Pictures show that Press also appears to have fallen in love with Musser’s beloved pet dog, who was by his owner’s side for many years.
