MILLIONS of WhatsApp users have received a free upgrade that adds some fun to their messages.
The messaging app most phone users have downloaded has this weekend introduced an added extra – which they think could make texting exciting.
New and improved, the chat forum has been made quicker, easier, and is available to those with iPhones.
It also has a funky new feature which lets you create your own stickers from your camera roll.
If you want to make sure you have the perfect meme or response to hand, you simply find the photo in your album and WhatsApp does the rest.
You don’t need to worry about having to send the entire picture, the app will cut out anything you don’t want in the sticker and can even add text.
WhatsApp told the Mirror: “Rolling out from today, you can now create, edit and share your own stickers on WhatsApp when using iOS, without having to leave the app.
“For adding some fun to your chats, bringing to life a group joke, or sending the right meme for the moment, you can now quickly and creatively turn your own photos into stickers.”
How it works:
You can also edit an existing sticker.
Once you’ve sent it, the sticker will stay in your tray on the app.

In order to use the new feature, you need to have updated your device to the latest iOS 17 software.
But if you don’t have a certain phone you could miss out on the upgrade.
