Update Following Club AGM

Last night also saw Ian Cairns, Gerry Crawley and Gregor Hall re-elected to the club’s committee, and they will be joined by Lynne McCartney, our first female committee member, and Andrew McGlennan. Leaving committee are David Gordon and Alan Hutchison.

With Alistair Marr being re-elected as Treasurer, the club’s committee now is:

Speaking after assuming the Presidency, Graeme commented: “It is an honour and privilege to be elected as President of our club. The Men’s and Women’s First teams have made great strides on the pitch, with the club doing likewise off the pitch, over the last three years while David Hunter was our President. I would like to thank David for all he has done over that time. I know he will continue to support me in his role as Immediate Past President. I must also record my appreciation and thanks to David Gordon and Alan Hutchison, both of whom have made a huge contribution to the club over many years in a number of roles.

“In welcoming Lynne and Andrew to committee, I realise there is work to do to ensure we move forward together as a club. We start the second half of the season with Callum Davidson as Head Coach of the Men’s First Team, supported by Liam Craig and Paul Nuijten. I am sure all supporters will give Callum and Liam a warm welcome and will be pleased Paul is to remain part of the first team coaching staff.

“January is an opportunity for clubs across Scotland to update their playing squad and I hope we will have some news on that front soon.”
