Priyanka Chopra’s Baby Malti Mastered a Useful New Skill & The Photos Are Too Cute for Words
Skills babies learn now can benefit them the rest of their lives. You know, like learning how to eat, walk, take selfies. Wait, what? Yes, it’s true! Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas’s daughter Malti, who turns 2 next week, just mastered the art of taking pictures of herself — and you know that’s going to prove useful later in life. She is a digital native, after all!
The resulting photos are beyond precious. If you’re ready for cuteness overload, head to the Citadel star’s Instagram story to see Malti’s first selfies. “She took a few selfies,” Chopra Jonas wrote over a blurry photo of Malti. The toddler is in a car seat, staring at the camera with her pretty brown eyes.
“☺️????,” Chopra Jonas captioned the next one. Her face is completely cut off in this selfie, but you can see her adorable hairstyle: two pigtails secured with pink elastics. Gorgeous!
Malti has another cute hairstyle in the last photo, as her hair is held back with a sparkly silver bow. She stares at the camera with one eye barely in frame for this selfie, clearly admiring her face too much to hold the camera straight. (Been there!) It won’t be long before this toddler becomes her parents’ official photographer!
The Love Again star recently shared several photos and videos of her New Year’s celebrations with Malti and Jonas. They vacationed in Cabo San Lucas to ring in 2024, and Chopra Jonas shared the sweetest photos from the trip including hanging out by the beautiful water. In one video, Malti drives a boat over the ocean from her dad’s lap as she babbles and sings. Her little voice is so adorable!
In Oct. 2023, Chopra Jonas told TODAY, “Motherhood has made me a lot more fragile.”
“I don’t know if motherhood has impacted my self worth or confidence but what it has impacted — it’s made me a lot more wary,” she continued. “Every day, I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, what’s the mistake I’m going to make? Or how can I mess this up? How am I going to self-sabotage in a way?’ I feel like I have to remind myself that I’m a confident person and I can do this.”
Motherhood is tough, and it’s totally normal to feel fragile or wary. But from everything we’ve seen of Malti, Chopra Jonas is doing a fantastic job!
