In the midst of the severe cold weather prevailing in the state, a two-year-old boy died, while his parents fell unconscious, allegedly due to toxic gas emanating from an Angithi (fireplace) lit in the room in Nagra village of Samrala on Tuesday night. The deceased was identified as two-year-old Armaan.According to reports, the accident occurred at around 9 pm on Tuesday when 27-year-old Anmolak Singh of Nagra village, after having dinner, lit an Angithi in the bedroom due to the cold conditions.
