According to Pazzi Di Fanta, Fiorentina are now eyeing a move for Tottenham Hotspur winger Bryan Gil.
Gil has had loan spells at both Valencia and Sevilla since arriving at Tottenham two and a half years ago and it has been reported by several sources over the last 24 hours that the winger could be set for another temporary move away from North London.
This includes Football.London’s Alasdair Gold, who said on Monday that Timo Werner’s impending arrival at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium could mean that the Spaniard is allowed to leave on loan.
Pazzi Di Fanta say that the 22-year-old could now be bound for the Serie A, with the Viola alleged to have set their sights on the player.
The report claims that the Italian side is expected to explore a loan move for Gil as his ‘low centre of gravity and his perfect ball handling’ makes him an attractive option for the club.
The outlet further adds that Vincenzo Italiano’s men see Gil as someone who can stretch the pitch and who would add value off the ball with his incessant pressing.
However, the publication does not shed any light on whether the Spain international would be open to a switch to Artemio Franchi Stadium.
Spurs Web Opinion
There will likely be plenty of interest in Gil over the coming weeks if Tottenham are indeed prepared to loan out the winger. My suspicion is that the 22-year-old’s preference would be to return to La Liga once again.
