It hasn't taken long for anger and recriminations to break out within the House Republican conference.
According to Punchbowl News' Jake Sherman, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) on Wednesday was "going at it" with Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) over the deal he cut with the Democratic-led Senate to keep the government funded.
According to Sherman, Jordan said that, "Republicans shouldn’t have agreed to any of the 'side deal' items in the spending deal" that Johnson agreed to, although as Sherman points out, Johnson was hamstrung by an earlier deal that had been cut by former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA).
The dustup with Jordan was not the only sign of dissatisfaction with Johnson within the Republican conference either.

According to The Hill's Emily Brooks, Rep. Warren Davidson (R-OH) stormed out of the meeting and openly trashed his own speaker afterward.
"Before we could even get together, he announced the terms of the surrender," fumed Davidson, who also said of Johnson, "He should never have been hired."
Johnson was elected as speaker last year after rebellious Republicans led by Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) voted to oust McCarthy and then spent weeks nominating multiple failed speaker candidates before finally settling on Johnson.
