For the past three weeks, almost 300 people have gathered outside the Islamabad press club to protest against the disappearances and extrajudicial killings in the province of Balochistan, in south-west Pakistan. The province, which borders neighbouring Iran and Afghanistan, has been plagued for decades by a separatist insurgency, which the security services are trying to neutralise by force. Thousands of men have disappeared and their mutilated bodies have been abandoned in various parts of Balochistan. FRANCE 24’s team reports from Islamabad.
