After a contentious first ten minutes of the House Oversight and Reform Committee hearing, Hunter Biden walked out of the room as chaos erupted.
The hearing began with the president's son apparently surprising Republicans by appearing for the hearing as Rep. James Comer (R-KY) was eager to attack him for contempt for refusing to appear.
Rep. Nancy Mace (R-NC) was so caught on the hop that her prepared remarks had her accusing the younger Biden of not "having the balls" to appear — despite him sitting before the committee.
Legal expert Norm Eisen called it a "smash mouth" move.
"It will help him in the court of public opinion and the real court," said Eisen before appearing on CNN. "Also vintage power play by my friend and his lawyer Abbe Lowell."
