I’m a Midwest midsize mama and tried a viral jumpsuit as I hadn’t seen anybody in an XL, it’s a win for me
A MIDWEST fashionista had seen an outfit go viral online, but the models were all petite.
The midsize mama wanted to show people what the jumpsuit looked like on someone who’s a size XL or 14.
TikToker Laurel Ladeville (@laurelladeville) posted her findings on social media.
“I’m a middle-aged midsize mom from the Midwest,” she said. “I have gifted myself a leisurely morning of getting ready.”
Laurel tried out the Sleeveless Wide Leg Jumpsuit from Cider.
It retails for $24 and has a rating of 4.7 out of 5 stars from 720 reviews.
The TikToker got the outfit in a rust-colored brown, but it comes in an array of colors.
The sizes range from 0 to 26.
When Laurel first saw the jumpsuit, she only saw “very petite people wearing it.”
“In the comments, all I could see were people asking what they look like in a size 14 or large or extra large or whatever,” she said.
“So I got this in an XL,” the midsize fashionista added.
Laurel liked that the jumpsuit zipped up in the back.
“I wasn’t sure if it was just like, you just kinda have a thought and a prayer to get in the neckline,” she joked. “I really love a jumpsuit.”
Laurel, who stands at 5-foot-7, was impressed.
“It’s long enough,” she said about the pants. “I think this is a win for me. I’m gonna wear it.”
People in the comments section hyped Laurel up.
“I’m 5 7 as well and needed to see this. It looks fire on you,” one person wrote.
“In my next life I hope to come back as a style girlie like you,” a second said.
