THE TRAITORS star Kyra Johnson left fans asking, “Where have I seen you before?’ as her TV past was revealed.
Kyra, 21, is one of the youngest contestants on the current series, which was kicked off on Wednesday night by host Claudia Winkleman.
But it turns out the apprentice economist from Kent isn’t all too unfamiliar with the entertainment industry.
In November 2023, she competed on Deal Or No Deal – which her Instagram followers were quick to comment on when she announced her latest telly stint.
One wrote, “Where do I recognise you from?!” to which another replied, “Deal or No Deal – I was thinking the same!”
Someone else added, “Cheers cause I’ve been searching for hours cause I knew I’d seen her.”
Things didn’t work out too well for her on the ITV game show, as she eliminated two of the ‘Big Five’ boxes in the first ten minutes.
They didn’t get too much better for Kyra, who was left with two boxes, one containing £4,000 and £1 in the other.
Kyra was offered £1,800 by the Banker before she made her decision which one to open. She followed her boyfriend’s advice and said “deal” to take home the cash.
Her appearance also saw presenter Stephen Mulhern, 46, slammed by viewers for overstepping in her love life as he pressed for an engagement announcement on the show.
As Kyra introduced herself, she revealed that she and her boyfriend have been together for five years.
The host quickly asked if they were engaged, but Kyra held up her bare hand and bitterly said that it’s not happened yet.
Visibly shocked, Stephen asked her why he’s not popped the question yet. To this Kyra replied, “ask him.”
Put on the spot, her boyfriend laughed nervously before saying “it’s coming soon.”
The Traitors series two kicked off last night with a bang. Players headed into a loch and had to work together to collect puzzle pieces to form a picture of a beacon.
Claudia informed the group that, if they completed the task within 40 minutes, they’d add £15k to the prize fund.
But she also dropped a twist and revealed they’d have the chance to win shields to protect themselves from being murdered by the traitors.
Kyra was one of the players to grab a shield, along with Harry and Jaz.
