Club Yet To Admit Defeat In Scrap With Tottenham Hotspur For Player

Napoli are continuing to keep the negotiations with Genoa for Tottenham Hotspur target Radu Dragusin alive for a potential move in the winter transfer window.

 

Dragusin is expected to move on from Genoa by the end of the transfer window and a move to England is widely expected.

 

Tottenham are in talks with Genoa for the signature of the centre-back but there is still a distance between their offer and the Italian club’s asking price.

 

 

 

The Romanian would prefer a move to Tottenham but Napoli are still pushing to sign the centre-back this month.

 

According to Italian daily Il Mattino (via Tutto Mercato), the Serie A giants are keeping the negotiations alive despite Dragusin’s preference for England.

 

 

Napoli are prepared to offer a cash-plus player deal to take Dragusin to the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona in the ongoing window.

 

The Serie A champions want a centre-back and the Romanian remains their top defensive target.

 

 

Tottenham are hoping to close out a deal with Genoa soon after agreeing on personal terms with the player.

 

However, Napoli are yet to bow out of the race and are still trying to get a deal done for Dragusin.
