Gurgaon experienced its first cold day of the season with a minimum temperature of 7.5 degrees Celsius. Cold winds from the mountains are causing the drop in temperatures. The region may also experience a cold wave once the effect of the western disturbance wears off. Dense to very dense fog with low visibility is expected in parts of Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi. The air quality index in the city has improved, but it is likely to deteriorate as temperatures fall. Delhi also saw its first cold day of the season on Lodhi Road, with a minimum temperature of 7.4 degrees Celsius.
