Emmerdale fans fear tragedy is on the cards as one villager puts multiple lives at risk
EMMERDALE’S Cathy Hope made a reckless decision in tonight’s episode which caused fans to fear a upcoming fatal disaster.
Cathy (Gabrielle Dowling) made a plot to escape the village on New Year’s Eve with Heath (Sebastian Dowling) and Angelica (Rebecca Bakes) in tow – but will she live to regret it?
With their party plans falling apart, the village teens don’t want to admit defeat.
They decide to go to a party in Hotten to celebrate the new year.
Even though they are too young to drive, that didn’t stop Cathy as she came up with a way to get to the party.
She stole Wendy’s (Susan Cookson) car keys and offered to drive the others to the party in Hotten.
April protested pointing out how dangerous it is and that Cathy cannot legally drive.
But Cathy was determined to make the party and assured her friends that she knew how to drive an automatic.
April (Amelia Flanagan) stayed behind as the other drove off into the darkness – will she regret not going with them?
Or will she let the other villagers know where her friends have gone?
ITV viewers took to social media convinced a car crash is looming as one said: “I’m guessing the teens will have a crash!”
Another wrote: “April please go tell your Dad!”
A third penned: “Ohhh do we have a death coming up?”
