‘Tis the season of giving … touchdowns to an opposing defense.
In Week 16’s first Christmas Day matchup, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw a pass intended for tight end Travis Kelce, but Las Vegas Raiders cornerback Jack Jones read the play well and intercepted the pass for a pick-six in the second quarter.
In the ensuing celebration, Jones scanned the lower half of the stands, as if looking to gift the touchdown ball to a fan.
Jones zeroed in on his target, a young child decked out in Chiefs gear in the very front row, and he reached up to hand over the ball. At the last second, however, Jones pulled the ball away, revealing that it was just a cruel prank all along.

While some Raiders supporters were delighted to see a rival fan get humiliated on live television, most NFL fans were less than enthused about Jones’s Grinch-like gesture—on Christmas of all days.
