The Accident & Emergency (A&E) Department of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) is again struggling to deal with the influx of patients.
On Saturday, the hospital, in a release, stated that there had been a surge leading to increased wait times.
QEH communication specialist Shane Sealy told the
DAILY NATION yesterday that the A&E was still crowded as there were about 35 patients still waiting to be seen, in comparison to 44 on Saturday evening.
Yesterday afternoon, a woman who was visiting a friend said it had been a terrible experience over the weekend.
