A PERSONAL shopper for the rich and famous has dished out exactly what her high-profile clients want this Chrsitmas.
Nicole Pollard Bayme, has worked with ‘royalty, celebrities and Forbes list individuals as a renowned stylist and personal shopper.
Working with the top percentile of earners means Nicole knows exactly what’s top of their Christmas lists – with some spending millions on their loved ones.
She spoke to Business Insider to reveal the lavish gifts her clients have forked out for – from custom designer goods to glamorous getaways.
Nicole, who is the founder of the styling firm LalaLuxe, recalls one client requesting an extremely rare Himalayan Hermès Birkin bag just days before Christmas.
It’s known as the priciest bag on the market at $432,000 – but her client wanted to get the hardware encrusted with diamonds bringing it to a total of $750,000.
Getting her hands on the purse was no easy task but Nicole turned ‘to her international network of Birkin dealers for help’ and was thankfully able to secure it in time for Christmas.
The luxury bag even flew with it’s own security detail to make sure it got to her client in one piece.
The $600-an-hour stylist also revealed that Goyard luggage sets were also sought after by celebs.
One client asked for a full luggage set to be personalised – one suitcase alone costs a hefty $10,000.
And Nicole isn’t the only one making Christmas dreams come true for the rich and famous.
New York-based ‘luxury travel advisor’ Elisabeth Brown lifted the lid to Business Insider on where her clients want to go for the holidays.
She recalled that Knightsbridge, the travel and lifestyle agency she is a director of, once helped someone buy a $5 million vineyard in Tuscany, Italy, as a Christmas present.
The pricey land also came complete with a mansion and ‘its own honey and olive oil production facilities.’
The agency requires a $50,000 a year membership fee to ensure they get exactly what they want.
“They just want to see what the best of the best looks like. There’s not really a budget – they just want what they want and would like to make it happen,” she explained.
According to Elisabeth, lavish vacations are a top present, and she revealed that she once rented a private villa in Africa for one client and his family, where rooms can cost up to $40,000 for a single night.
