Report: Tottenham would have to pay more than £22m to sign teenage target
Danish publication BT have backed Tottenham to get into a bidding war for FC Copenhagen’s Roony Bardghji next month, insisting that the 18-year-old would cost more than €25m (£21.6m).
Bardghji established himself as a regular in Copenhagen’s starting eleven towards the latter part of last season and the youngster is now having a breakthrough year in Denmark, having found the back of the net 11 times so far.
The versatile attacker, who can operate as a winger, striker or attacking midfielder, is seemingly catching the attention of several top clubs, with 90 min reporting at the start of this week that Tottenham are one of many admirers the player now has.

BT have now also reported on Tottenham’s interest in Bardghji, stating that the North London club are a ‘big suitor’ for the youngster.
The outlet says that Ange Posteoclgou’s men could go head-to-head with Chelsea for the Sweden Under-21 international’s signature during next month’s transfer window.
The report adds that Copenhagen’s focus is on ‘making a huge sale’, with the Danish club wanting to raise more than €25m (£21.6m) from Bardghji’s sale.

While Bardghji seems like a big talent, I do not think Tottenham will be too keen to pay over £20m for a player who is yet to prove himself at the highest level. The Lilywhites will want to conclude a deal in the £12m- £15m range, which was what they paid for Alejo Veliz last summer.
