A BEAUTY influencer has revealed her three eye makeup tricks to help her look younger.
The over-50 content creator warned her viewers not to make the mistake of skipping an important step.
Colette (@colettevanpaemel) shared the makeup tutorial with over 290,000 TikTok followers.
She explained that instead of using a single shimmery color over the lids, she preferred taking a warm neutral brown above the crease.
“Look at how much more alive it makes this eye look,” she said.
Next, instead of an eyeliner pencil, she preferred using some eyeshadow with an angled brush.
“Take it right down to your lashline and make a slight wing right at the end of your lashes and up, you want to keep everything lifted,” she said.
Last but not least, she warned viewers against skipping the brows.
Like many, she’s made the mistake herself before realizing how much of a difference it made in looking more youthful.
“So many of us don’t fill in our brows, they tract from your face instead of framing your face like they’re meant to do,” she explained.
Taking an angled brush, she used an eyeshadow that matched her hair color to draw small strokes on her brows and combed it through.
