‘Don’t even think about it’ woman insists jewellery is an Xmas gift insult & four other presents she doesn’t want to get
NEED a last minute Christmas present for your wife, girlfriend, mum or sister but have no idea what to get them?
A woman has shared the brutally honest truth about five gifts no female wants to open on Christmas Day.
Melissa Desm shared the revelation through a video posted to her TikTok channel, where she boasts almost 250, 000 followers.
The first no-no on Melissa’s list was “random perfume”.
Addressing all of the men watching her video, she said: “You don’t know what smells good”.
The next thing that Melissa warned men not to buy for their partners and family members was a robe or dressing gown.
She said: “Robes are personal, and we don’t want that from you”.
Melissa went on to explain that her dad once bought her mum a cow print robe for Christmas. She said that her mum felt like a cow wearing it so never used the gift.
Third on Melissa’s list is cleaning products or anything to do with women having to clean themselves.
However, Melissa said that the one exception to this rule is a Dyson vaccuum cleaner.
“I would love a Dyson”, she said.
The fourth item Melissa said you should never buy a woman is any heart shaped jewellery.
“I would go as far as to say any jewellery at all”, she added.
Then Melissa shared a pearl of wisdom as her fifth and final gift no-no.
She said: “And last but not least, and this is an important one because men love to give women these. A headache.”
TikTok users raced to the video’s comments section to share their thoughts on Melissa’s list.
One user said: “Even though she never asks for it I still give my wife a headache everyday.”
Another user added: “If a heart necklace wasn’t bad before, Alan Rickman totally ruined it in Love Actually.
“Breaking Emma’s heart like that.”
