He won’t watch any other Santa movies!’ says daughter of 90s Hollywood legend as she follows in his footsteps
A MASSIVE Hollywood star has seen his daughter emulate his success by taking on a starring role in a movie spin off.
The 70-year-old father of two rose to fame back in 1991 after working with Disney.
This resulted in his first huge role in the series Home Improvement, which ran on abc in the US and was owned by parent company Disney.
He’s worked alongside Pamela Anderson and portrayed the main character, Tim ‘The Tool Man’ Taylor in the 90’s sitcom.
He’s also appeared in television classics such as The Santa Clause, Toy Story and Galaxy Quest.
In The Santa Clause films, he played the role of Father Christmas and on Toy Story, he was the voice actor for Buzz Lightyear.
But his 14-year-old daughter, Elizabeth Allen-Dick, entered the realm of Hollywood earlier this year, taking on the role of his onscreen daughter in The Santa Clauses drama series.
The series is a spin-off to the Santa Clause movies on Disney+.
Tim is married to Zoom Actress, Jane Hajduk, with whom he had Elizabeth.
Tim also has a 34-year-old daughter named Katherine Allen from his previous marriage.
After working on set with her dad, Elizabeth told HollywoodLife: “It was just so much fun.
“‘It was never stressful.
“I never felt like I had one day of work throughout the two months of shooting.”
Elizabeth also spoke about how her father’s Santa-themed movies take centre stage as the go-to Christmas films in their annual lineup.
She told The New York Post: “Every Christmas we watch all three of them.
“We do watch other movies! But not many.
“He also won’t watch any other Santa Claus movies other than himself.”
