Bring on the Bing, as in Crosby, and let’s dig in to where his snowy White Christmas dreams might come true.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has released its analysis of historic snowfall across the U.S. and, here’s a shocker, it’s more likely in Pennsylvania’s Allegheny Mountains than in Florida.
The odds are best for at least one inch of snow to fall in areas along the Canadian border, such as Minnesota, Maine and Upstate New York, according to the data-crunchers.
The West Coast, the Gulf Coast and the Deep South have a one-in-ten chance of yuletide frosting.
Of course, this analysis — which looked at snow data between 1991 and 2020 — is just a wintry weather better’s guide, not a forecast.
However, the Weather Channel predicts — again, unsurprisingly — that the best chance of snow is to book a flight out west and stop in the Rockies.

The rest of us can expect warmer weather because of the thing it’s not very festive to talk about — global warming.
