ASHLEY Cain’s ex-girlfriend Safiyya Vorajee has told her army of supporters that she is “starting the next chapter” and “standing proud”.
Safiyya, 36, has made a pledge to focus on herself next year and it comes after she opened up about her split with former footballer Ashley.
The grieving mum exclusively told The Sun how the Ex On The Beach star was “quick and brutal” when he ended their relationship, adding that she is “shattered” at the news he is now having a baby with someone else.
But taking to social media, Safiyya has told fans she is “exhausted” of putting on a brave face after losing their daughter Azaylia to cancer in April 2021.
Instead, she has vowed to show her “vulnerable side” without shame and focus on “self-love” as the new year approaches.
Alongside a photo of herself posing happily on an ice rink, Safiyya told her one million followers on Instagram: “Starting the next chapter, my goal is to be there for myself and really embrace self-love.
“It’s tough because I know the pain of longing for my daughter will stick with me forever – I love & adore her so much.
“I kind of lost sight of taking care of myself along the way, and I bet many of us end up there. I’ve been carrying this image of being brave and strong, wearing layers of armour, but honestly, it’s exhausting to always have to seem that way.
“Life didn’t really leave me much choice; I had to build up strength and resilience. Now, I’ve grown so much as a woman, and today, I stand proud.”
Safiyya went on: “I’m not afraid to show my vulnerable side and the scars I’ve earned along the way, so you know you’re not alone.
“I want to be a woman who proves that even if life feels like a journey through hell and back, you can still make it. Keep believing in yourself.
“This time of year Is incredibly hard for so many including myself but ‘We’ve got this’ 
lots of love to all of you.”
Safiyya has been inundated with support from her loyal followers.
One replied: “I think all of us as women and mums hearts sank for you Saf.
“Nobody is rooting for you more thank us all. Nobody wants to see you succeed more. Go smash 2024 xxx.”
Another added: “You got this girl 
such an amazing lady sending you lots of love & strength on your new journey.”
A third said: “You just have to think, one day you will be with a Azaylia again, and when that day comes she will want to hear all your amazing stories and memories, don’t feel guilty for living your life, go live it and think ‘I can’t wait to tell Azaylia about this’.”

This weekend, Safiyya gave a tearful interview to The Sun On Sunday about her breakup with Ashley.
She also broke her silence on Ashley’s recent news that he’s expecting a baby boy with an unnamed friend.
Safiyya revealed that Ashley had asked her to have another baby with him during a visit to Azaylia’s “garden” at the cemetery.
But months later, he told her he was expecting a child with someone he is not in a relationship with.
Safiyya says: “He didn’t tell me who she was and, again, I would not ask.”
Breaking down, she added: “That’s the heartbreaking thing about it. Even when he told me, I put him first so he didn’t feel guilty for telling me. Inside I was screaming and crying.”
Safiyya said she visited Azaylia’s garden to tell her the news but wasn’t able to.
She admits she will struggle to ever see Ashley’s new child.
“As raw as that sounds, I find it difficult watching my own nephews, my own goddaughter play, as Azaylia should be playing with them,” Safiyya said.
