Nicole Kidman was photographed while filming A24’s upcoming film “Babygirl” on location in New York on Friday.
The film is said to be an erotic thriller directed and written by Halina Reijn and features talents like Jude Law, Antonio Banderas, Harris Dickinson, Sophie Wilde and Jean Reno. Reijn previously directed “Bodies Bodies Bodies,” another A24 film that did extremely well.
For her shoot day in the city, the “Eyes Wide Shut” star sported a pair of neutral-toned flats. The footwear was constructed of cream-colored textural suede uppers that transitioned into unique square toes. Additionally, the style was slip-on for ease of wear and included short stacked wooden heels that offered the thespian subtle lift, elevating her feet.
Flats are a favorite of many celebrities for their versatility and comfort, Kidman included. The shoe style offers the wearer an alternative to more uncomfortable heel styles. Flats tend to be easier on the feet and are usually embellished with high-shine ornate detailing that makes up for the lack of height.
Kidman was subsequently wrapped up in a long tan trench coat that aimed at shielding the star from the harsh winter weather. The coat was made of wool and featured a belted midsection and ample pockets. The outerwear seemed to be layered overtop a formal dress of sorts. Over her shoulder, the Australian thespian sported a coordinating tan leather bag in a crescent moon shape.
Kidman’s shoe styles often veer between the casual and undoubtedly sleek. On the red carpet, the “Stepford Wives” star typically wears pointed-toe pumps and heeled sandals with a range of colors and embellishments, hailing from top brands including Aquazzura, Jimmy Choo, Alexandre Birman and Manolo Blahnik. Her chic off-duty style usually includes relaxed pairs with flat soles, including Celine loafers, padded Bassike sandals and Tabitha Simmons flats.
