JUST three small makeup tweaks can make your eyes look younger, according to a TikToker.
She said the beauty adjustments take just a few minutes, and she promises that you’ll see a total difference.
Meagan (@MeaganOnline) has more than 344,000 followers on TikTok, where she creates lifestyle and beauty content geared toward middle-aged women.
She shared a video with her tips on how to get younger, “smexier” eyes.
“If you’re over 40, save this video right now,” Meagan said.
She shared a before and after photo, showing the difference in her eyes and how “youthful” she looks now.
“Here is your proof that three small tweaks just to your eyes will automatically update and ‘youth-enate’ your look,” she said.
Meagan quickly corrected herself after realizing she confused “youthful” with “euthanasia.”
“That’s not the right word to use… younger, sexier eyes,” she reiterated.
The first step to transforming your eyes is by filling in thinning eyebrows.
“They’re going gray, they’re showing our age,” said Meagan. “Take 30 seconds and fill in your brows.”
For the next step, Meagan suggests focusing on your eyelashes by getting a good base coat to give length and volume.
“Get you a good formulation that works and give yourself back some lashes,” she said.
Lastly, Meagan points to the waterline of her eye and simply says: “Underline.”
“So if you’re gonna line, you wanna give length back,” she said. “You wanna open your eye back up.”
She suggests using eyeliner that’s in a neutral color and lining the waterline from edge to edge.
“Bring it all the way, don’t cut that eye off,” she said. “Those three tweaks. Trust me, you’ll see a world of difference.”
“Do you have any recommendations for mascaras or eyeliners?” asked one viewer.
Meagan answered: “For lashes, definitely L’Oréal Voluminous with their mascara base. For eyeliner, I use my brow pencil.”
Another viewer asked Meagan for her thoughts on microblading, a semi-permanent form of cosmetic tattooing.
“I’m considering it but…” said the viewer.
Meagan said she did it about four years ago but warned that it doesn’t last forever.
“And as my brows lightened with my grays, it didn’t match,” she said.
