Howard will face off against Florida A&M in the Celebration Bowl on Saturday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
Currently sitting at 6-5, Howard needs a victory to secure a winning season. Quinton Williams has been solid for the Bison in his third year as the starting quarterback, with 16 touchdowns and only four interceptions. Williams is not an explosive runner, but the senior has added five scores on the ground, making him a threat near the goal line. A bowl victory would make it a successful season for Howard after winning the MEAC conference title over Morgan State in November.
The only loss for the Rattlers came at the hands of South Florida by 14 points in their second game of the season. Florida A&M went on to win their next ten games following the lone defeat. The Rattlers also won their conference championship this year. A 35-14 performance over Prairie View earned them the 2023 SWAC title. Senior quarterback from Chino Hills, Jeremy Moussa, has thrown for 2,604 yards this season while completing 57.7 percent of his passes.
