A Norwalk man has been arrested for failing to properly register as a sex offender nearly a dozen times over the course of about two and a half years, police said.
Maurice Thomas-Riley was charged Thursday with 11 counts of failure to register, according to the Norwalk Police Department.
The charges stem from an arrest warrant police obtained upon being contacted by the Connecticut State Police Sex Offender Registry Unit and notified of 11 separate violations Thomas-Riley has committed over two and a half years, police said.
