Meet Amal Clooney’s Lookalike Sister Who Is a Total Fashionista

Here’s yet another reason to love Amal Clooney: Her sister, Tala Alamuddin, is apparently the quirky, free-spirited, boho fashionista BFF we all dream of having in our corner.

Amal has been a mainstay in headlines since she began dating now-husband George Clooney, known for her work with the United Nations and her impressive philanthropy, Amal is the fiercely intelligent leading lady in the actor’s life but she also has an accomplished woman in her corner — her sister.

Who is Tala Alamuddin?

Tala is a fashion designer and Amal Clooney’s younger sister. She was born in Beruit, Lebanon in 1980, two years after Amal, but moved to England with her family as a baby during the Lebanese civil war. Per her website, Tala went to school in London and worked in advertising in New York and Singapore. She is now based in Singapore.

Tala, a fan of all things funky and fringed, started her own fashion line aptly dubbed “Totally Tala” in 2017. Her supportive older sister has been known to wear the brand and even carried one of Tala’s clutch bags when she and her husband attended the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in Windsor in 2018.

Tala is also a mom of four, a daughter and three boys who are the cousin’s of Amal and George’s twins Ella and Alexander. As well as shouting her sister out on Instagram from time to time, Tala showed her loving bond with Amal on her sister’s wedding day in 2014.

Amal didn’t have a maid of honor or bridesmaids but exclusive photos of her wedding did show her sharing a moment with Tala while she got ready to walk down the aisle.
