NORTH SHIELDS are on the brink of collapse and every player has left the club.
The Robins penned a devastating message to fans, explaining they are close to shutting down.

North Shields currently play in the ninth tier of English football and sit eighth in the table.
They earned promotion from the Northern Football League Division One two seasons ago.
However, they were since demoted by the FA in April despite coming seventh last term after failing to improve their ground to the correct standards.
It led to the club losing several players and coaches.
Financial troubles have only worsened in recent months due to postponed matches, leaving North Shields without any revenue.
It was then decided that they would not pay staff and everyone would leave.
A club statement read: “If we continued to pay players and management in full with no incoming finance, unfortunately the club would no longer exist.

“The manager held a meeting with the players and it was decided at the meeting that the management team and players will all leave the club with immediate effect.
“We now start the very difficult task of rebuilding the club which is steeped in history and located within a fantastic community.”
It is unclear whether North Shields will return to action and tomorrow’s game against Carlisle City has been called off.
They are now working with league chiefs regarding the rest of their fixtures this season.
