DAVID Haye branded his rumoured new flame Helen Flanagan ‘ditsy’ and said she ‘stinks’ in a slew of unearthed comments.
It was revealed last week that the boxing champ had been enjoying ‘secret dates’ with the former Coronation Street star.
The pair became friends when they appeared on I’m A Celebrity in 2012, but recently matched on dating app Raya and sparks have reportedly flown.
However, it seemed that David was not too sure of Helen upon their first meeting in the Australian jungle.
When the pair were first placed in the jungle together, David said he found Helen “cute” but was quick to offer up some more damning first thoughts on the star.
Speaking on the show, he remarked: “Helen is a real cute little chick, a bit ditzy, but she stinks of fake tan.”
Whilst the pair went onto strike up a good bond Down Under it wasn’t until recently that the pair connected on a deeper level.
The Sun exclusively revealed that Helen’s mystery “hot man” was in fact David.
Sources say Helen, 33, met up for dinner with former champion boxer David — who had been in a ‘throuple’ relationship with girlfriend Sian Osbourne and pop star Una Healy.
But it is understood Helen and David, 43, went on dates alone.
An insider said: “Helen told friends she’s been on dates with David.
“She’s met Sian before and is aware of reports of their throuple set-up but is obviously not involved.”
The star, who played Rosie Webster in Corrie, split from her fiancé, Bristol Rovers footballer Scott Sinclair last July after 13 years together.
Despite the news of Helen and David’s budding union, it seems his girlfriend Sian, who he began dating in 2020, has snubbed Helen amid the new pairing.
After the news broke, it emerged that Sian doesn’t follow Helen on social media, despite both being so close to David.
