A PAIR of conjoined twins have shared an insight into what life is like for them, including what would happen if one of them had to go to jail for committing a crime.
Carmen and Lupita shared the insights via a video posted to their TikTok channel, where they boast over 3 million followers.
The first question the twins answered is whether they both get tired at the same time.
They said: “We both don’t have to be tired because we have two separate brains.
“One of us can be awake whilst the other is asleep”.
Next, they answered whether if one of them died, the other would too.
They said: “We share a bloodstream, so if one of us dies eventually sepsis would kick in and within hours or days the other one will die”.
Carmen added that because the duo share a bloodstream, if one of them gets drunk or high, they will both feel it.
Next they discussed what would happen if one of them got sent to jail: “We’ve never been through that process, so how would we know”, they said.
The twins then revealed that they cannot control each other’s limbs but that Lupita is able to drive as she has the right foot.
They then revealed that they are not able to read each others minds and have two different stomachs, so feel full at different times.
However, the twins share a reproductive system so said: “You can do the maths about all your weird sex questions”.
Next, they revealed that they both have separate ID cards and have to do separate exams.
They then discussed Carmen’s relationship status.
“No, my boyfriend isn’t dating both of us”, she said.
The pair revealed that they can feel where they are attached together but can’t feel each other’s limbs.
They said they are unable to have kids but don’t want them anyway and finally added that Lupita is one and a half inches shorter than Carmen, despite the pair being joined together.
