Last night fans of the ITV show got their last ever jungle fix for the year as they watched the celebrities slip back into normal life.
Nigel, 59, was excited to finally eat some of his favourite food after rice and beans for three weeks.
The former UKIP leader was picked sardines and a Toblerone – and viewers were shocked at the choice.
Many took to X to share their shock.
One wrote on the social media platform: “Beer, sardines and toblerone… tf sort of combination #ImACeleb.”
Another said: “Why am I not surprised that Nigel is a sardine kind of man.”
A third chimed in: “Toblerone & sardines, interesting choices there Nige.”
“Beer, sardines and Toblerone is definitely a combination…,” a fourth tweeted.
A fifth questioned: “Beer i can understand but sardines??!?!?”
Yesterday the former politician was all smiles as he landed back in the UK after completing his stint in the jungle.
Nigel became the highest paid campmate in history with his eye-watering seven-figure.
But last night he made it clear that wasn’t why he took part.
Nigel reflected: “This has been the most amazing adventure, I’ve proved to myself I can do things I never believed I could.”
“I hope I’ve shown the British public I’m not the devil that half of them seem to think I am.”
Nigel placed third on the show this year.
He was beaten to the top spot by Sam Thompson.
Tony Bellew was announced runner-up on Sunday.
