CHRISTMAS is supposed to be the season of goodwill, but that can quickly evaporate when friends are divided over a new baby’s name.
A woman’s Facebook friend is due to have a C-section on Christmas Day.
An expectant mom was due to give birth on Christmas 25th[/caption]As befits the occasion, she has come up with what she considers to be an appropriate seasonal name.
But her choice has been widely panned, with many people voicing their disapproval.
Some thought the expectant mom’s chosen moniker worse than a “dumb Kardashian.”
A fellow mom-to-be posted the story on Reddit to gather some views on the name.
“A girl from my due date group on Facebook is having a C-section on December 25th and wants to name her daughter Krissmiss Dae,” she revealed.
“She asked for opinions on other holiday name ideas and I suggested Noelle or Ivy.”
Perfectly acceptable names, but Christmas Day mom thought otherwise.
“I don’t know, those are kind of weird-sounding,” she said in response.
Redditors had a field day with this strange festive name.
With so much choice, why choose that name, asked this commenter.
“Chris/Kris. Holly. Angel. Mary. There are so many things you can go with that are still kind of dumb but are still so much better than that.”
How about this one, suggested this person: “Criss Angel. It’s the perfect name for a Christmas baby.”
There was an unusual offering from this person: “Solstice would be kind of cool though. Way more badass than Krissmiss Dae.”
This Redditor had some seasonal fun with his choices: “Just go with North-Pole, Saint-Nichola. Super on trend if you’re a dumbass Kardashian.”
But there was one other Christmas classic that should be up there with the contenders, said this person: “Should have gone with Grinch.”
