DALLAS, Texas: Southwest Airlines flight attendants have rejected a contract negotiated by the airline and their union.
On December 8, the Transport Workers Union Local 556 said the proposal was voted down 64 percent to 36 percent.
In a statement, Lyn Montgomery, president of the union, said the vote followed negotiations over five years, during which the flight crews have not received pay raises.
