Opposition MPs criticized the suspension of Trinamool Congress MP Derek O'Brien from the Rajya Sabha and questioned the lack of action against the BJP MP who authorized the entry of the individuals responsible for the security breach in Parliament. O'Brien was suspended for the remainder of the Winter session for "unruly behavior" and "misconduct."
