PARTY season is among us – which means millions of Brits are scrambling to get their Christmas ‘do outfits sorted last minute.
And it turns out that supermarkets like Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Asda are leading the way in Christmas party attire.
One shopper recently nabbed a £30 dress from Asda for just £19 – and other buyers agree it’s the perfect outfit for your office party.
Taking to Facebook, Marie Grantham shared her bargain buy.
“May just be a fluke but this £30 dress in Asda scanned at just £19,” she said.
“I scanned my asda app barcode and then my £2 off George voucher code so still should have been £28.
“Happy partying for me!”
Marie picked up the Gold Sequin Wrap Front Mini Dress from George at Asda.
The long-sleeve frock has a V neckline and wrap front design which you can tie at the side to sit how you want it.
The sequin embellishment gives the gold finish a glistening look.
The dress is available in sizes 8 to 24, but some shoppers warned that it comes up small.
“It’s far too small,” one reviewed. “I’m usually a size 16 but this barely fired over my bust.
“It’s a lovely dress so I have ordered a size up but I’m not too hopeful.
“I probably need a size 20.”
Other buyers gushed over the newest frock in their collection and said it had them “all ready to party”.
“Beautiful dress, looks much nicer on than in the picture,” one penned.
“The wrap over part is a very good fit, as sometimes one side can be a bit baggy.
“I ordered a size 10 and it fits perfectly – good quality too and value for money.
“I’m all ready to party.”
