Good Morning Britain star hints they’ve signed up for I’m A Celeb 2024 after ‘invite from Ant and Dec’
A GOOD Morning Britain favourite has hinted they’ve signed up for I’m A Celebrity’s 2024 series.
It comes just days after the current ITV reality show wrapped, with Sam Thompson, 31, crowned winner.
Now a Good Morning Britain stalwart has thrown their name into the frame.
While regular show anchor Susanna Reid, 53, had hinted she was pulling on her jungle boots, entertainment reporter Richard Arnold, 54, has now teased his spot.
What’s more, the showbiz correspondent – who returned from covering the show Down Under just hours ago – has had a personal request from I’m A Celeb hosts Ant and Dec.
A video then played out showing the Geordie duo inviting Richard into the critter-filled camp, promising him a “hammock” was waiting.
On Thursday’s GMB, Richard then admitted he was jetlagged as he was welcomed back onto the early-morning set.
As hosts Ben Shephard and Charlotte Hawkins quizzed him about being the next campmate, he replied: “You would love nothing more.
“Would I? It’s a stellar invite from Ant and Dec.
“I am at a time of life where if one door opens you walk through it – if your knees can make it.
“So I don’t know.”
Just months ago GMB favourite Susanna admitted her co-stars were “convinced” she is part of the new I’m A Celeb line-up.
She said that her co-host Ranvir Singh is “convinced she is going in.”
She added how Ranvir had been continually sending her snake Emoji icons but then tellingly quipped: “I can neither confirm nor deny.”
Entertainment host Richard then called out another clue and suggested how Susanna’s new shorter hairstyle was in preparation for her “going in.”
Meanwhile, Good Morning Britain weatherman Alex Beresford, 43, was also strongly tipped for a jungle spot.
He has fronted a variety of TV shows away from the breakfast TV series – and I’m A Celeb could be his next.
And Alex added fuel to the speculation when he described how a spot on the show would be “awesome.”
No doubt the trio could pick up some tips from GMB co-host Kate Garraway, who is a former Im A Celeb alumni.
