In speaking to reporters after the game, Nurkić was asked about the incident and provided a short yet stern message to Green.
“What’s going on with him I don’t know,” Nurkić said. “That brother needs help. I’m glad he didn’t try and choke me. But at the same time, it had nothing to do with basketball. I’m just out there trying to play basketball and they’re out there swinging. I think we saw that often. I hope whatever he got in his life it gets better.”
The Warriors’ bigger issue was that they got infatuated with Wiseman’s measurables and ignored what matters most. Contrary to what many pundits said at the time, Golden State didn’t need a 7-foot rim-runner. It would have been far better off with a skilled playmaker like Haliburton or LaMelo Ball, who went No. 3 to the Hornets.
Both are now All-Stars, but few doubt that Haliburton would have been the ideal option for the Warriors. It doesn’t matter that he plays the same position as Curry. A willing defender, Haliburton could have earned meaningful minutes as a rookie before blossoming into the face of Golden State’s next generation.
According to prosecutors, Gao took a bus from his Cupertino home on Oct. 15 to Atherton to search for the home of the four-time NBA champion to allegedly get an autograph.
When he arrived in the wealthy Peninsula enclave, Gao spoke to a woman who pointed out Curry’s residence. Around 5:50 p.m., prosecutors said he walked up to the gate, pushed the “call” and “ring” buttons on the intercom and the gate opened.
Gao then walked onto the property and through the home’s unlocked front door, according to the DA’s office. The suspect was soon confronted by a nanny who demanded to know what he was doing at the home, he responded that he wanted Curry’s “signature.”
According to the Palo Alto Daily Post, who first reported about the break-in, the nanny saw Gao on a surveillance camera and confronted him when he entered the living room.

The plan, expected to be unveiled at a news conference with Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin on Wednesday morning in Alexandria, is for the two teams to move to a massive new development in Alexandria’s Potomac Yard neighborhood, sources said.
Virginia State lawmakers voted Monday to approve the arena project in Northern Virginia, the Washington Post reported. A final vote of the state’s full general assembly is needed to pass the project, which would create an 8,000-square-foot campus site in Alexandria.
ABC7 in Virginia reported that the teams could break ground by 2025 and begin playing there by 2028.
“I feel like I still got a lot to contribute to a team to be able to win, whether that’s here or somewhere else,” PJ Tucker told ClutchPoints in an exclusive interview Monday night. “I know myself, my worth. I know what I bring. I know what I’ve brought. I know what I can continue to bring. And with that, I want to be able to go to a good team that I can be able to help that.”
A report surfaced on Monday, December 11th that PJ Tucker is unhappy with his role and multiple contending teams in the NBA are monitoring his situation with the Clippers as the season continues.

Kevon Looney
11 minutes, 0 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 2 fouls, -13
Looney has not been playing well lately. And he didn’t play well against Nurkić the first two times these teams played.
You could kind of see this coming. He was a menace on the glass in the first quarter, which was awesome. But he was removed from the starting lineup to start the second half, and played just three minutes in the half. And for good reason.
