Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert is out for the season after undergoing surgery to repair his fractured right index finger.
The news comes amid a disappointing 5-8 season for the Los Angeles Chargers, who weren’t likely to make the postseason anyway. Herbert’s fantasy football managers, though, were getting good production out of the fourth-year pro, and his injury comes just as some of them are entering the fantasy playoffs.
