Ludhiana rural police arrested three drug peddlers, recovering 5400 kilograms of poppy husk, Rs.1.25 Crores drug money, two countrymade weapons, 14 fake number plates, and four police uniforms with belt. The accused were identified as Avtar Singh Tari, Harjinder Singh Rindi, and Kamalpreet Singh. The police received a secret information that the accused were involved in bringing poppy husk from other states and supplying it in the area. The police conducted a search and found the contraband and illegal items.
