Ontario Association of Architects launches new podcast series
A new podcast series was recently launched by the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) and was designed to make the built environment more accessible to the public by exploring aspects of design and construction and discussing current issues such as climate change and housing.
The podcast, called Architecturally Speaking, is hosted by architect Ryan Schwartz and features interviews and discussions that offer a unique perspective on the world of architecture. Schwartz’s recent work has focused on residential projects at a variety of scales, and he is also active in the fields of architectural media and photography.
The first episode features BDP Quadrangle architect Karl Van Es, who shares insights on sustainable design and its role in climate action.
Future episodes will launch every month and delve into a wide range of topics such as innovative housing alternatives, accessibility in architecture, and designing for dignity in long-term care facilities.
Architecturally Speaking is produced by the OAA in association with For the Record Productions’ Peter Reynolds.
