The Netflix is a Joke Fest is coming back in 2024 and it’s massive.
Produced by Netflix in association with Los Angeles-based live event promoters Live Nation, the festival will feature more than 300 live stand-up shows and special events, all taking place in more than 35 venues from May 2-12. There will also be live entertainment and comedy at Outside Joke — the hub of the festival — an outdoor entertainment space located next to the Hollywood Palladium.
Tickets for all of the events across the festival will go on sale to the general public starting at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 15 at NetflixIsAJokeFest.com.
The event last year included 295 shows with more than 330 comedians and 260,000 tickets sold, according to event producers. To date, Netflix has featured more than 200 comedians in more than 350 specials over the past decade and have upcoming specials with acts like Trevor Noah, Ricky Gervais and Dave Chappelle. Several of the shows on the Netflix is a Joke Fest roster in 2024 will be filmed for future specials.
Gabriel Iglesias had a huge moment last year when he participated in the festival by being the first comic to ever perform at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.
