A mother has shared the child-proof trick she uses to decorate her tree.
In her video, Lynsey (@elsey_22) showed her followers how to protect their trees this holiday season.
“This is my favorite hack from last year, which I can take no credit for because I found it here on TikTok,” she explained.
The TikToker revealed that she opted for a cheaper alternative to large baubles.
“Instead of buying giant baubles because they’re expensive and my kids will probably break them, I buy mini balloons,” Lynsey said.
She demonstrated how to use small balloons to elevate the look of your decor.
“You blow your mini balloons up and then you can place them into the tree like so,” Lynsey told her viewers.
She recommended placing the balloons in the sparse parts of your tree.
“I do need to get some extra ones because these are from last year and a lot of them have popped but they look so good,” Lynsey said.
She pointed out another benefit to substituting balloons for baubles on your tree.
“They honestly cost a fraction of the [price of the] giant baubles that you would pay for in the shops,” Lynsey said.
“Honestly, I live for this hack,” she concluded in the caption of her video.
