Love Island star Molly-Mae, 24, has denied that she and Tommy, 24, have split – but admitted their relationship is “tricky” and that “things aren’t always going to be perfect”.
The couple’s relationship has been under scrutiny in recent weeks after the boxer was pictured partying topless with a bevy of women in Abu Dhabi.
Now, fans are claiming she’s looking to Tommy’s famous brother Tyson and his wife Paris for inspiration.
They’ve speculated the influencer won’t want to split with her fiancé because it will ruin her image.
One wrote in a Reddit thread, “Honestly, I think at this point she’s probably decided that the benefits/positives of their relationship outweigh whatever issues she has with him.
“They’re a social media power couple, they have a kid now, there have always been these cracks and they’ve still moved forward with engagement and building a family.
“I don’t doubt that his behavior has caused trouble, particularly after her heartbreaking interview while he was training for the Jake Paul fight, but I can’t see them splitting unless he does something so publicly embarrassing it permanently taints his/their brand.”
Another agreed, “Paris has put up with a lot of s**t from Tyson over the years I can see her looking at that and just grinding through. I don’t see her leaving anytime soon, maybe and I’m hoping he sorts himself out soon and matures a lot for her and their kid.”
Someone else said, “Yeah she definitely hates drinking culture and the fact that tommy drinks/parties. I also can’t see her leaving unless things get really bad. i can see her staying because she doesn’t want to ‘break’ the family.”
Molly-Mae was seen without her £600,000 engagement ring on Monday, despite putting on a united front with Tommy.
But in her latest YouTube video, the mum-of-one revealed that she had been bombarded by questions from fans asking if her relationship was in turmoil.
The reality star said she wanted to address this head-on as she admitted that having a relationship in the public eye can be “tricky”, especially when things are going wrong.
Molly-Mae explained that things “aren’t always going to be sunshine and roses” especially with a spotlight constantly on their relationship.
She and Tommy have been together since meeting on the ITV2 show in 2019, and share daughter Bambi, nine months.
