NFL fans can't help but feel bad for Bryce Young.
After enjoying the success that comes with a Heisman Trophy and an SEC Championship win at Alabama, the Panthers rookie has endured his fair share of struggles during his first year in the pros. Young's struggles unfortunately continued in Week 14 against the Saints, as he had one of the saddest turnovers of the year.
On a first down play in the first quarter, Young dropped back to pass with the Saints defense quickly converging on him in the pocket. The rookie had a split second to throw—which he attempted to do.
Unfortunately for the Panthers, Young fumbled, which was recovered by New Orleans, leading to plenty of sympathetic reactions by NFL fans towards Young.
The @Saints get to Bryce Young and force the turnover!

The only positive on this play for Young is the fact that the officials decided to change the ruling from an interception to a fumble. In many ways, the play summed up Young's rookie season: the Panthers offensive line immediately allows pressure, and the rookie QB makes a costly decision as a result.
It's hard not to feel bad for Young.
