NFL Wives Reportedly Have Some Strong Opinions on Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce's Romance

Taylor Swift’s presence at the NFL games is impossible to hide now that she’s dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. The cameras love to cut away to shots of his stadium suite in hopes a catching the 33-year-old singer’s reactions to her boyfriend on the field. And leave it to sports commentator Erin Andrews to find out from the NFL wives how they really feel about the “Cruel Summer” singer’s romance with Kelce.
Andrews spilled the tea to her Calm Down podcast co-host, Charissa Thompson — and it’s pretty juicy! “I love it, I still love it. I got a little intel this weekend from some of the WAGs out in Philly,” she said in response to a fan question about her thoughts on the red-hot romance. Andrews didn’t divulge whether it was the opinions of the WAGs from the Philadelphia Eagles or the San Francisco 49ers, but she still dished the intel.
“They were like, ‘Love it, adorable,'” Andrews revealed. “And they were like, ‘You know why? Because that’s a man. She’s with [a] man.'” Nice, Kelce is getting a stamp of approval from the wives, but what about Swift? “Here’s a good take from an NFL WAG, which I loved,” Andrews excitedly shared. “She said this, ‘For the first time publicly, it seems like she’s with a guy that’s not like, ‘Oh, yeah, I’m with Taylor. Don’t take my picture. I’m at the concert,'” Andrews said, shielding her face. That might have a slight dig at Swift’s former boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, who seemed to prioritize his privacy over her global fame.
The general consensus is that Swift has met her match, and the superstar seemed to agree in her TIME Person of the Year interview. “Here’s a good take from an NFL WAG, which I loved,” Andrews recalled, bouncing up and down. “When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care…The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone,” Swift gushed. “And we’re just proud of each other.” It looks like everyone is in invested in Swift and Kelce’s love affair — even the WAGs who know everything about what it takes to be an NFL wife.
