THE latest trailer for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet has just dropped, and fans are stunned by what was announced.
There were a number of unexpected inclusions such as the ability to control your Pokémon telepathically.
Alongside all of the starter Pokémon we knew were returning, it seems that every legend will also be added into the game.
This isn’t just box legendaries like Kyogre and Groudon, but also their rarer counterparts like Rayquaza and Necrozma.
Legendary trios will also be added into the game, like the Kantonian birds, and Kubfu and the Urshifus.
What was more surprising than all of this information was the number of free Pokémon that will soon be available.
The first Pokémon that players will be able to grab is a shiny Lucario, one of the most popular Pokémon in the game.
Shiny Pokémon are super rare, and there is usually only a 1/4000 chance of you encountering one.
However, if you input the code SH1NYBUDDY into Mystery Gift you can pick one up quickly and easily.
This giveaway will run until January 3, so you have a few weeks in order to catch yours.
The next Pokémon being given away is the mythical Pokémon Darkrai.
Darkrai has only ever been available via special events like this, so it is an extremely rare Pokémon to encounter.
If you want your own Darkrai you can pick one up by entering NEWM00N1SC0M1NG via Mystery Gift.
This offer will end on December 21, 2023, so there is far less time if you want to pick this one up.
The final Pokémon you can grab are Dialga and Palkia, the legendary Pokémon from Generation 4.
They will appear in five–star raids from December 8 until December 21 and will come with the Dragon Tera type.
