ROCKSTAR Games has shocked the world by dropping a trailer for the most anticipated video game on the planet hours earlier than expected.
The first ever trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 is now live, and it looks absolutely incredible, lasting for about a minute and a half.
The game looks to be set in the Miami-like Vice City, complete with alligators, palm trees, and lots of partying.
We also get our first look at Lucia, the new protagonist for the game, who looks to be a former inmate, who’s got a few fun quips to her.
The trailer also looks absolutely incredible, showing a true generational leap or two between GTA 5 and GTA 6, with gorgeous lighting and high quality textures across the board.
Unfortunately, for fans excited to get stuck into the new GTA game, it looks like we’ll all be waiting for quite some time.
The trailer ends with a release window of 2025, meaning GTA 6 is at least a year away.
The early trailer release comes after a series of leaks for the trailer, the first of which was leaked by a surprising Rockstar insider.
The trailer was leaked in full on Twitter a few hours before developer Rockstar Games released the official trailer, likely in response to the leaks.
GTA 6 is expected to be a gigantic hit, and expectations will be high for it after its predecessor GTA 5 sold 190 million copies, becoming one of the best-selling games of all time.
We’ve had a few details drip out for GTA 6 too, like earlier in the year when fans discovered the map size and locations for GTA 6.
GTA 6 is expected to launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2025.
